if you mean the feed for the heater matrix then I\'m in two minds.  either guna scrap all together or run accros front of bay and back to fire wall.

rovers

Yea thats the one i was talking about.  Had the same problem in my car but solved it today. Ran it on the other side of the engine.

So you still taking off normal place bellow the filler neck and just running accross the middle of the bay in front of engine then back to normal place?

rx7ali

My friend Alex came through today with my new swirlpot which is designed on the size and shape of the charcoal canister so will be nicely hidden under the car :D

What you recon?

What\'s the capacity? How is your system going to work? Standard pump as a lift pump, 044 as main pump?

Just like that yes.

Think its about a litre, more than enough as i\'ll never be WOT for very long.

Got a walbro in tank for lift pump, fills into the port, and overflow from the pot back to tank.

Then feed from pot will goto a Bosch 044 to feed the rails and return to pot.

Will all be push on fittings for the lot to safe dosh
 :burnout

Push one are fine, just double clamp them to be safe. AN fittings are great but you will have skunked £500 on those before you even notice! I know I did! And still not finished:(

This is exactly why i have given up on the idea of using AN fittings.

Push on are WAY cheaper and less to think about, all the AN sizes and fittings confuse me...

Good advice on the double clamp :yes

Still got lots to buy, are the barb sizes for the tank take offs generaly 8mm or 10mm??

Grant Monkhouse

No idea. I would have guessed 6mm myself though?! Lol I\'m sure a few people will know. Just put a thread up asking :)

:censored::censored::censored::censored:, well this swirl pot has what looks like 10mm OD barps (10mm ID hose required) so this may make things :censored::censored::censored::censored:ing complicated :2Rolleyes

Grant Monkhouse

You can make it work, just get adapters. Find out the correct size first. I was just guessing. Been wages since iv seen an fd fuel line

Will do, also need to get some fuel filters for the setup so they can just stay 10mm  and the Bosch can just have 10mm in and 8mm out or what ever the size is.

Grant Monkhouse

Dad says they\'re 8mm so you should be ok. :)
