No connection with this one....
Clue resources limited as I\'m on the move....this should not be too difficult - a landmark car and still on a lot of serious \'must have\' lists.

Me too. :) I thought i was good recognizing cars. Few guys here knows everything :)

It does look like a Merc, but it ain\'t.  Probably the right era for the Merc you\'re thinking of but rarer.

Mmm, nothing springs to mind on this one.  There are a few cars that I\'ve found with that kind of exhaust set up, but none that match.

Other than the era, if I can ask a couple of questions....are we talking a rare car as in make or is it the model that\'s rare?  And is this a standard arrangement or modified?
