It always had a noisy back end since I\'ve had it so started with the bearings now the diff and a couple of bushes.

Can\'t be anything else left to change

What about the prop?  IIRC your car started as an Auto, so maybe the probshaft is a little out of balance and is killing the bearings?

..although thinking about it, if the prop was out of balance it would probably have ruined the bearings in the tailstock by now?
