Was just wondering what the preferred boost controller is ive noticed alot of greddy profec spec 2 on ebay but a couple have switched to a different brand is there a problem with them or is another make just better.

Now why would you be needing a boost controller Greg?

AVCRs are good but imo, overly complex unless you\'re after a very specific setup. Most aren\'t.

Have no experience with HKS or Blitz controllers.

Greddy is good. Nice and simple and does what it\'s supposed to.

I hear useful things about Gizmo controllers which are cheap but again, no experience with those.

Always just used the pfc for boost control as most do!!!
Standard sequential, standard engine, Oem body, 1.2bar, WI

Apexi avcr is great.
Profec can sometimes be unreliable.
We warranty our rebuilt engines for Detonation, track day\'s and RWYB and NOW for 30 months which is two and half years or 30,000 miles
We also build all types of race or road engines.
We build race and track cars too.
Any kind of porting undertaken.
Single turbo conversions.

Profec spec II all day long, never had a problem myself with the cars I have mapped with ones fitted. Simple to setup as well.

Siinplicity is often best... ran Greddy profec 1& 2 in my cars.. No problem what so ever.. I like the Apexi AVcr, had one too.. nice, but can be tedious to setup. Blitz, was great and I did an HKS for my friend.. he liked it too.

or you can do what I did.. Switch to AMS... Im running a AMS1000, which might be over kill for you, but you can try the AMS500..  the 500 Held rock steady at 45 psi while we were tuning.. :)
