Whats the standard boost setting for both the turbos on a 92 3rd gen? Also is 14.5psi + to 1 bar?

I did do a search before I asked the question so please dont flame me :)

No problems mate!  ask away.

The boost pattern should be 10-8-10 psi (first to second turbo).

Yes 14.5psi = 1 BAR, which is too much for an FD without a tunable ECU.
Thanks,

BPG

Would the stock turbos still be reliable on 1 bar boost?

Fish

Stock turbo\'s have been known to hold this boost level. The amount of life you would get from them is a bit of a gamble, but so long as everything else is done properly you shouldnt have a problem.

As Dan has said - everything else has to be done correctly also:

Upgraded fuel system (larger pump, fuel pressure reg., larger secondary injectors are a good idea)
Aftermarket ECU
Larger exhaust
Should run a larger intercooler

Tuned on a RR, using a properly mounted Lambda sensor and Exhaust Gas Temp (EGT) sensor.

You\'ll be getting somewhere then :)
Thanks,

I was going to get alot of work done on mine in July. I was going to get an Apexi intercooler, rebuilt + ported (but not sure how big a port yet) full exhaust and Apexi ecu. I was going to ask Geoff to do it as he did Max\'s car and hes done a great job on that.
