I only said start at 12 so you do not miss the lugs, when you take it off you will see what I mean.

Mikey22

yeah i think i know what you mean, I always got confused at to which way to turn it. Not sure if it should wind up the spring when opens or unwind it. when the plastic bit inside is twisted i mean.

JayDee

Unwind it I think although never really took notice,do you have a pfc

Mikey22

Same here, never took notice when i removed it. (big mistake)

Ok gonna look stupid here but......pfc?

JayDee

Mikey22

I wish i could say that jaydee ha ha. I had a quick look last night but typical scotland it was chucking it down so was only in the car a few minutes.

I take it you need to be in the \'etc\' section on the apexi?
Then sensor check?

JayDee

Yep that\'s the one, do you know the what the values should be?

If im honest no not yet. However i know that FD3s.net has values on there.

I\'ve been on the sensor check before. I know that there are values down the left hand side, then there are like tick box circles on the right.

I take it the values i need to be looking at are somewhere on the left hand side ha ha. Just hope weather is better tonight so i can go have a play with it.

amt-automotive

I think tps 1 should be around 0.7-0.8

Vta1 .25 to .75
Vta2 .76 to 1.25
Make sure your cold start is off and idle speed is correct.
How did you get on?

Hey guys thanks for all ur help, got the sensor on and got reading one within in range. sruggling a bit with second range. it now starts but has a bouncing idle :( not good.

Mikey22

Just a quick question as not 100% sure and its kinda on topic lol

If my exhaust was blowing from one of the gaskets would this cause a bouncing idle?

Im just trying to trace down the cause of this, however i know it could be many things such as

Plugs
plug leads
coil pack
vac leak
TPS
etc etc.....

I\'ve looked at vac leaks and checked plugs are ok, just not checked coil packs or plug leads but they seems to be working fine.

Thanks
