Took the car up to Yorkshire for Jim to work his fault finding magician magic and hey presto he found the fault in minutes

We are using a mixture of a big Hemi electronic Throttle body in conjunction with the RX-8 pedal, which can't have ever been done before, problem was we could not find a plug to fit 100%, we found one that was almost identical with the correct pin outs and it did clip on OK,

"But" although I checked it to make sure the clip was still in place and tight it had obviously lost its integrity, which was why the ECU was showing intermittent error codes for 5V and 12V issues ! 

Jim's going to do away with the plug and connect the six wires direct then resin them in place so vibration etc can never be an issue.

While its with Jim he is going to fit the latest super dupa mod, a full blown Race Dash

I feel I got lucky (calculated) at least in finding the reason for the voltage drop out on the throttle body, but all sorted now, I am not sure but it feels like the throttle response is even crisper. Tomorrow's job finish all the wheel speed inputs and start on the dash.

Btw, I had some issues with Tapatalk, it would not open at all. For two weeks I think. I deleted that app, and loaded it again. Now ,it works but looks weird

Out again at Brands tomorrow in the All Comers series

This is a mixture of Saloons then  sports cars which essentially is two races in one with a 50/50 split across the grid.

Qualifying is at 10.20
First race is 12.50 then the second at 17.55!

Logged in early to TSL and race already started some 10 mins early.. just caught commentary of Clive returning to pits after first lap..
No mention of why.
