Things got a bit close today!, The RS500 Sierra had already spun one way and here's the pictures of it coming back the other way. I knew it would, so I kept my foot in. Had I lifted we would have had two dead cars!!

He span on the out  lap for qualifying
In his defence he had just bought the car and was struggling with brake bias
Probably why
I out  qualified him twice
It is 500 ho
However , he can drive

Good job Clive made that instinctive twitch to the left, creating just enough extra room to avoid a collision.

Looking at that video again, it's a very odd place to spin. It does look like the white Ford might have tapped the RS500, sending into a spin? Clive's in-car might confirm.

Or, his brake bias was too weighted to the front and the back end snapped round?

Looking at the video again, I don't see any damage to the rear of the RS500, so looks like Mr Spiller's comment about brake bias issues is the most likely reason for that spin on entry to Paddock?

Overdriving the car to spin at that point will be the reason, entry speed would have been just too damn fast
To be fair he had never driven the track, that aside, nice guy and from what he told me, I shudder to think how much he may have paid for that car, so he's lucky he didn't take it home in a bin bag!!.
