Sounds great.

Yeah, we have learnd here that only few plugs are good running on race PP engines or bigger hp turbo cars. Bad plugs can cost you an engine

I wonder how much Pip needs money to come over here to tune few cars? I know he visits Norway sometimes

It’s worth asking Pip
I rang him last year and he was in one of the Nordic countries tuning a few cars .
Felt like I was talking to a rock star

I think I asked Clive once to ask Pip

Anyhoo, not important at the moment, Im still having issues with my ecu and Aussies are investigating it

Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

Iv been looking at spark plugs for my car, so was wondering what you think if these Clive? And which ones you use.

The R6725 s are what a lot of the methanol drag cars use, from what iv found they're about 20 quid each

Gone back to using NGK R6725-11's rather than the cheaper NGK equivalent that have failed me  twice now.

I cant buy NGK R6725-11's  in for the money you say, so be very careful as Chinese fake NGK’s are currently flooding the market!

I have heard some use these NGK BR10ES  because they are cheap,  but from memory these are just Gen 2 EGI plugs.

Pip thinks they are OK in road cars, but the race car demands are just too much for them  :violent1:

Different view from my frustrating first race where I was down on power.  You can see later in the race why I am pleased with my this years brake set up, off the end of Bentley straight,      https://youtu.be/DD3UTrweUxY?t=5

Yeh iv just had a proper look, 20 quid a pop is way too cheap for them to be real.

Finding them at 30-46 each

Obviously you run 11 heat range plugs because you are using petrol, I have to use a colder plug because methanol burns cooler so the 10s suit it better for sure.

The ignition system I am getting is rediculously powerful too so getting cheap knock off plugs will be terrible as it will just melt them.

What are you gapping the plugs too?

Hes got 2 young boys who race junior class motorcycles...on a shoestring budget both lads are showing great talent with results...feelers have been out for sponsorship but absolutely nothing. My mate said his pensions gone he will be teaching people to drive and ride well into his 70s!  But hes gonna keep trying!

What’s the code on them race plugs ?
Might be worth a try on my standard RX8 .
It just a track car so gets revved very well .
Just over a year and the 8+9’s in there seem to have given up
Thanks

Here you go mate.

As I said, these work quite nicely in different cars. We use them +500 hp turbos and in race PP engines.

Unfortunately, we have to order them from US. Actually, we have to order all of our spark plugs from oversees
