I hope they don't have the same V8s those things cost megger bucks

They would sound amazing if they did but I'd say they weren't as high end and noise restrictions at the race tracks will spoil the sound

I would say they have the same engines these turn up in F1 style transporters!

Just found out that at Brands Hatch 1st/2nd of August spectators will be allowed

Might have to shell out a little extra on a transporter though :D

Off up to Pip's again tomorrow to get the map checked as it went a little lean at thje end of the 2nd race, plus it was fluffy from 8500 up.

Need to make sure all is OK and ready for the Thunder Saloon race up next

From memory MSA says lights must be in place, also I have the lights on most of the time to let em know I'm there.

p.s. Perhaps not of me, but thank you for the pictures Malcolm, love the bonnet and the up the kerb ones.

Here we go, the car on the Dyno.

Turns out I was way out on power plus all fluffy at the top and even the new plugs were losing me 20bhp. Change of type of plug sorted that. Back to the same power but Pip found me more mid range and its coming in proper on lower boost now. So, an excellent Dyno session and well worth the trip  :great: :great: :great:

re japi

Sounds great.

Yeah, we have learnd here that only few plugs are good running on race PP engines or bigger hp turbo cars. Bad plugs can cost you an engine

I wonder how much Pip needs money to come over here to tune few cars? I know he visits Norway sometimes

Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

It’s worth asking Pip
I rang him last year and he was in one of the Nordic countries tuning a few cars .
Felt like I was talking to a rock star
