It’s just a pig of a place to get home from with Friday traffic ......

Most of stay afterwards for a Christmas meal at a nearby pub restaurant to avoid the Friday pm traffic rush, so getting home a bit later. The  place we have used in recent years is already fully booked, so Nigel is looking for an alternative place nearby to book.

More  down-force please sir  :great:

Seeing the underside of a world touring car, it dawned on me that I could make the RX-8's under tray wider, so we now have a pair of strips 18cm X 100 cm either side of the sump, which as you can see gives a much greater area.

Before Brands,  next up is the plumb the Wilwood  proportioning valve  into the rear line so I can balance the rear brake bias.

Proud to say I upheld Rotary Honour in 2019 and last night I was presented with the trophy as a Track Attack Champion for the second year running.

Been a great year for the car producing these results below and best of all no real mechanical dramas with 46 races now on my excellent Rotary Engine, something a lot of big power piston racers would love to be able to say  :great:

2019 highlights
10 class wins 2 Overall wins plus one  2nd and 3rd places overall
Plus 6 Fastest laps

Many thanks to all who supported me throughout the year. 👍

Congrats Clive  :sign0098:

Another good year, so glad to see this after you doggedly carried on through those early problem years!

A well deserved trophy.

I have a feeling next years competition will be biting at your heels even more but with no avail.

Gonna need a larger trophy cabinet I think lol

Everything crossed for 2020

Well done Clive, nice to see all your hard work and dedication has paid off.
Lead me not into temptation, I can find it myself...
But i can always do with some help now due to, my advancing years!

Many thanks for the comments above, appreciated.

Off to Brands tomorrow mainly to bed new pads in plus set up the brake ballence front to rear. If all this works I should be able to brake later and deeper into corners, which is an area where the car has suffered.

looks like rain though, but I can test some better wet weather that I have put on the correct size 9.5" rims rather than the wrong size 8" rims.

"Hopefully" the track will be dry enough to stick drys on at some stage and see if I can feel any more downforce from the extra flat floor area under the front of the car.
