Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

I bet you would be a little frayed if I dragged you around the race track at 100mph for 16 laps ::)

I think I found why the car wasn't charging for the second race, the terminal had fractured off the back of the alternator !

I checked the small wires on the alternator at the track, wish now I had pulled the nsf wheel off and had a proper look :(

I would say this happened because of the vibration from the misfire, last time out, but the good news is that its a cheaper fix than having the alternator repaired  :13:.

Hi Jon, Yes got everything to sort it thanks,
Steve.

Clive I'm assuming your using a full poly bushed kit? Would you say that making them out of a hard plastic/rubber would be bad?

The car would obviously harder on bumps etc

Going to be making my own bushings that's all as I did that on my fd

The nut was still nice and tight , just down to vibration, as said probably due to the misfire.
Found part of an old loom to make the new one to get the correct diameter wire.

Grant I use an Energy Suspension Bushing Kit and did on the road car.

I didn't  notice any harsher  ride on the road car , also with the other Super Pro and  Powerflex bushes we sell, these are cheaper by far.

Check the instructions as per my notes as no time to read them b4 going away but its the same as mine so hopefully no wiring changes. The little cabin fuse box has spare ignition lives onit.
