Thats extremely frustrating...what was the fuel gauge reading at first point of fuel cut? Is simply a case of bending sender arm to correct?

Dunno why, just thought of Clive psyching himself up in this fashion lol

Nah,  I do things that are much more extreme than that  ;)

Sorry haven't been around, having a few days away, back Wednesday.

OK, to catch up a little.

No ideas why the tank thing got weird, second time its been an issue since fitting new pumps last year.

As John knows, first time the syphon pipe clip was dislodged, but that now has a tight cable tie around it so it cannot happen again, also the pot was pulled and connected to make sure it read zero on the gauge.

Extra weight or not, I will now start each event with a brimmed tank and go back to putting two cans after each run.

As for the brakes, I now have my fingers crossed every thing arrives from Good-Win-Racing and Racingbrake in America.

These are brake ducts, a pair of callipers, rotor rings plus the parts to rebuild the old calipers.

Going onto an endurance pad set up as used in GT  formulas  and Nascar etc, Hawk DTC 60 front and DTC 30 rear, they should stop the thing and last!

But with that said I am going to start looking at bigger discs and four pots for the back as a future upgrade.

As for the racing itself, fairly happy now I have seen the videos because, I can see for myself that while the car was operating properly, from the chirps on the tyres and the steering wheel reactions that I was indeed getting the Maximum  out of the car on the day as regards braking and cornering.

Jamie as for race prep, I do none, zip, ziltch, in fact I get a little worried that I very rarely even get nervous going to the grid  ;)

That's probably born out of confidence and years  of experience  :icon_thumleft:

Not sure if you all noticed but Philip has done his magic again and you will see he has put the rear view in the bottom corner, his editing skills get better and better.  :great:

Superb race videos again Philip. That first race was so close between you and the Civic, until the shortage of fuel killed your chances.

Great viewing  :13:

Here we go, Track Attack have compiled a promo video

Must admit some of the shots really shows is how it looks and feels out there for real. As you will see it gets a little close at times!

Be nice to watch it at a venue near me.......stands look a bit empty

I'm assuming it's open to public for a fee  on the days you race?
