Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

Does this mean 'Christine' has forgiven you...or maybe you've forgiven her?

She's been a good girl, so defiantly forgiven  ;)

Jarno, fully understand weight loss, learnt that with Minis as a kit also I played around with Moto Cross years ago and could beat 500's with my KX125 mostly due to its lighter weight.

Still no idea what it weighs, as for distribution, I have the poor mans way way of finding out.

If I jack the exactly car in the middle, both front and rear wheels come off the ground together  :)

Clive when you get 5 can you post up race calendar....venues and dates pls.

also got some checking for you..
1. A scan code read see what codes are in there, think there was 4 in there after rewire and running, be good to check and validate them.
2. Tightness check on alternator, starter and fuse box big power connectors.
3. Security of omp under dash...that bolt holding it in place nice and tight.

True, its amazing what really really low weight can do...

Ok, I see. "Poor mans way yo finding out"  :great: I quess she still is quite near 50/50 then. Still would be really interesting to see true corner weights :)

Anyhoo, I just keep watching your in car vids over and over again!  ;D Really amazing job!  :13:

Can you replace the rear window also clive for weight savings? I bet that piece of glass weighs a fair bit also?

Good call, I will have a look at that but I know that as the glass is very thin and weighs very little.

Same goes for the rear quarter-lights

I now have pictures  :)
I had to look at pic 2 as this shows just how close up and under Rich Hockley was as you can only just see the back of his car because the RX-8 is obscuring his car almost completely----------proper close clean racing  :great:

True, he was really close. And yes, gentleman racing. Clean lines, not hitting, even tho very close few times.  :great:

Damn, that 2nd of June event would be awesome to attend to...  :(
