Do all the tracks broadcast the track side commentary or is it just Brands Hatch?
Certainly all of Clive's races that I can recall have had the TSL Timing live commentary. It was superb hearing it along with the video  :)

I really liked it too, good idea... Olso it would be awesome to see times, splits and so on too. Dunno if its possible tho

Wow, I now know why the commentators were going beserk, watch this from lap three when the restart takes place.

Didn't realise what a hell of a race was going on behind me.

Learnt a lot from actually seeing the RX-8 in action

I was desperately trying to use the back markers, worked most of the time only didn't work with  one Pug that didn't see me coming.

I already know I needed a stiffer rear bar and have a different bar on order from Racing Beat and now I have seen this video I know I need one.

This will also let me run the rear dampers softer for more grip

Yes, good racing from those 3 racers. Reminds me old WTCC abit... That Pug might be low on power but that dude really jumps into corners and brakes late...

Btw, can you lose some weight from car more?

Earlier I didnt realize how close those two were, especially that Honda. So good driving under pressure Clive!  :great:

We have saying here, goes something like: "dont drive from mirror views". Raughly means that if you are checking what happens behind you all the time, it will mess up your own driving and lines. Thats why we adjusted our friends Ladas mirrors so he cant see from those :D

Jarno, I have borrowed a mould to make up a boot lid skin but ran out of time to make it.

The boot lid weighs a ton and needs to go, however its not that simple as the rear wing needs a redesign so it mounts off the main body rear wings and not the boot. I know this will shed a lump of weight.

Don't forget with the little lighter cars  they hold many advantages with their light weight as they have less weight and mass to accelerate and then decelerate over the RX-8.
All the best Clive

jinx

Does this mean 'Christine' has forgiven you...or maybe you've forgiven her?

Casey

Looks like she's "flaming mad" to me  ;) ;D

:icon_thumright: Thanks for the slo-mo vid of the flammage Philip  :)

Ok, I see. Forgot that then rear wing needs to be redesigned...

How much she weights now, and how much you think you can still lose weight, easily?

True, weight really is enemy. Look at my "motto" at the bottom ;) Thats why my ice racers dont weight anything. Dont have power but can easily fight against more powefull cars...

Howerer,  if you lose to much weight from one end of the car, it will change balance. Traction, acceleration, braking, it really affects everything. I wonder what weight balance you have at the moment, maybe 51% in front...?

For example, friends rallycross Lada was really over weighted in previous season. About 1075 kg (minimum is 1060kg) with about 57% weight balance in back. But it needed to be done cause with 1060kg and about 54% rear weight, there were not enough traction. Compromises... :)
