re japi

Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

Cheers Jarno. About a day left... got to pull a 2 core cable in for left fuel sender doesn't work on just the right 1. Gotta get hot enough to confirm fans working..have not heard them cut in yet at 84deg C. Little alternator runs the battery down on idle so need to use a brick or summit to raise idle to keep it running my jumper battery is weak...confirm these fans kick in...
Code read all good now...learnt some stuff about the immobiliser.......
Trim etc needs to go back on..quick connection check underneath...few cable ties here and there and good tidy up and weigh the removed wiring.

Jon, does the canbus system get effected by a change in length of cable or is it not that sufficsticated?

Seems fine mate...Seems quite robust. Ecu is talking to immobiliser module and dash...rpm  is 1 thing transferred to dash via can bus.
Obd port works again canbus.

Morning Jon,

Reference the fans, whist I have seen the fans work on track as I see the water temp rise and fall, I'm sure that no matter how long I have run the car stationary I've never heard the fans cut in.

All the best Clive

The easiest way to check is within the adaptronic software Jon, the Aux outs have a check button where you can invert the output signals for testing purposes.

Thanks Kev, it would be nice to know they are actually going to work before hitting the track again  :13:

I was thinking the same as with the 044 and water pump doubt I'd hear them cut in and with the splitter and undertray was thinking crawling underneath to check for airflow.
They are wired directly as drawings....later I'll be putting 2 core cable in for 2nd sender and then running up if plenty of fuel...
If you bring the laptop Sunday we can check again.
Kev you were right about battery light...the rogue wire was indeed a live.
