Seems like there were only 2 SGT cars on the grid (Phil Colard out and Paul Buckmaster out). The other SGT car being the overall winner, Lee Gillard, in a Subaru

All good here....another trophy for Clive....power steering cut out out half way so Clive got a work out...lol..came in dripping wet!..
Got a 1.17.7 me thinks before eps issue...7th overall.
It fixed it self so where spectating til next race.

I think that why clive kept the stock steering wheel, just so he had a bit of leverage to turn the car of the power steering crapped out lol. Well done clive, hope your having fun.

Now..... I have many hole saws of varying sizes to make it the car lighter

Thx for the update Jon  I guessed something serious had happened as Clive's race, and the one after it, never appeared on TSL.

Glad Clive not involved and hope no-one else injured either.

Quick round up...
Car fine Clive still setting up and getting a feel for it but power steering issue 2nd half of race made a real struggle. Unfortunately a big gap between race 1 n race 2 which due to incident was red flagged....but car running fine no issues or fixing jobs todo.
Anthony Weeks in saloons in his rx8 looked very racy and car finished unsure of position but looked a good solid result.
Phil Buckmaster rx7 had a issue in qualification ...talk of boost increase and engine failure...engine 7 years old so not a bad innings atall...
Incidents all day so last 2 races cancelled...marshalls had a very busy day as cars beaten up pretty much every race...they where running 50 mins late for Clives 2nd race.

A car ended up on its roof at folly...race start...hope driver ok...it was sheeted off...which is never a good sign. Fingers x ok.
Funny we nearly missed the first race drinking coffee in the tavern...

Anthony was 4th in Class, with a fastest lap of 1:19.785, 17th overall. Solid result, but I'll bet he'll be disappointed not to finish higher.

It was good to catch up with Clive Jon and Carl today at Castle Combe.  Sane the day ran late due to many incident packed races especially Clive's last one which was red flagged on the first lap.  I hope all were Ok from the incident and as always the circuit rescue and emergency crews appeared to be on the scene very quickly.

I am glad that Clive's car appeared to have got over early problems so that it is now possible to develop further.  Certainly the way of developing a small amount of smoke coming to the grid after having sat idling was a sure way to get the commentators attention and start the reminiscences about Le Mans in 1991.
