And Jon yes your right, never finished.

We had a private test session today with the car and between Jaydee and Kerim they ironed  out the problems that were stopping the car being able to be mapped properly and finally I have heard the car running on full chat :Thumbs-up.

Chris (CJR) had his mapped cleaned up at the same time and took some video however the car ran on full song after he had to leave.(hopefully Chris will post some of the video )

I have to say that Jaydee has shown super human patience with the mapping problems we have had, and this is all down to the fact that NOBODY has ever integrated the RX-8 electronics system with an REW engine properly on the planet and even I was starting to wonder if fundamentally this was never going to work 100%

But right the way back to physically building a map to even start the car and many hours thereafter he has cracked it and he\'s the only man to date who has via the electronically controlled RX-8 throttle  :chat

All this means after a tiny bit more work we should the car running and starting to see what kind of pace the car may be able achieve at Snetterton with further chassis development.

It looks as this project might give your group some cash return:yes as you have cracked a lot of unanswered questions and found what some people giving out advise had not even accomplished anything and never even lifted a spanner.

Its one thing to read it out of a book and another to get it to work its what a lot of enthusiast,s would love to do, your full conversion and integration of 7s into 8 might be more sort after, I think your on too something lads well done its been good to see the car in the flesh and to see how this has progressed over the last year or so.

Now to see car and the boys compete will be great.
