Quote from: clive;867036Ray, as one of my sponsors (thankyou) a ride is no problem once all is well

Perhaps best I don\'t in case the race bug bites.;) I have already regretted, a number of times, not purchasing the track prepped RX7 you located for me a few years back.:(

I\'ve already been accused by a couple of track day instructors of being too competitive and using tactics like late braking, trail braking and using lots of kerb at apexes and on exits to gain ground :spank and just aimed at catching the next car down the track.:yes

I can\'t see anything wrong with the above, nothing like a good bit of kerb :rollin

re japi

Good job everyone :)

Ya, I was hoping video too ;)
And what is the most important thing, does she go brabbrab? ;D
Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

I\'ve always assumed that the kerb is there to aid steering. :rollin  Although some deserve a little respect.:Nono!

Kerbs are there to give your inside wheels something to rest on whilst undertaking extremely rapid changes of direction.

Apparently putting details of your car spec in your signature means the nice folks on exile-rotorsport think you\'re a fool.  I can think of no higher compliment!

I find its the best place to map track cars, takes a few laps for me to trust the driver!, then I can keep my head in the lap top and not look lol.
Oulton park and cadwell gives me a bad headache after a while  though lol

Quote from: Grant Monkhouse;867024Well done Clive and team:D

As Sean says...... You got it started but no video:(

I want to see the video of Jay mapping whilst your hurtling around the track too!! That will be a new experience for him I\'m sure/

You can trust Clive, he aims in the general direction and stamps on the loud pedal then stands on the brakes and turns in whilst giving it opposite lock.:rollin ;)

Judging by some of the videos they give a few drivers a headaches as well, especially Mountain (where a laptop would go airborne) and even more so Hall Bends into the Hairpin at Cadwell. :D

Yeh best place for sure as there\'s no cars coming the other way. I have been a passenger in Clive\'s NA rx8....... I think my hand print is still on the door handle for holding on whilst he nailed it around oulton park:evillaugh
