Hi Marcus, no the blue I used was very close to what I had on a lot of my former race cars

It\'s coming along (slowly) here\'s a picture a few weeks ago with it\'s safety devices cage fitted along with the Momo seat, since then the doors are back on, lightend as far as possible, i.e. really just outer shells with perspex windows, R3 backend is all fitted properly plus lots of other odds and sods are complete.    


I will get another picture up in a couple of weeks  when it\'s got all the suspension fitted and front end back on so it looks like a real car.

Yes, as it will be interesting to know.

From what somebody else has told me who has just stripped an RX-8 for trackdays and had his weighed it should come up as 200 kilos lighter than stock, mind you the full FIA spec cage was damn heavy :eek

Work and customers have to come first so I\'m grabbing time on it when I can,

Should see an engine soon to go with the nice big GT40 and Trust intercooler  I have:mmmm

After this weekends Japshow the Tein Mono Flex suspension will come off the road RX-8 having had its last trackday at Cadwell recently with stock shocks and Eibach springs going back on along with the stock bonnet.

The Teins (with different spring rates) along with Racing Beat roll bars and adjustable end links and the polybush kit thats already fitted will then all find its way onto the Race car.

What size got side have you gone for Clive? As that is a large turbo but should net you 400 easily. Should imagine the hotside will be small as you don\'t want huge HP??
