Quote from: HaywardRotary;853216whole clutch and flywheel assembly is 4.5kg

What is original/stock weight?
Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

Apparently putting details of your car spec in your signature means the nice folks on exile-rotorsport think you\'re a fool.  I can think of no higher compliment!

It\'s, no but I can get around that using one sensor.

Quote from: fil_auto;853205Looking good :)

Thanks Phil and to Ray on the next post, still aways to go though but aiming for Japfest, got to have a target date or things don\'t ever happen.

Trouble is I not only need to get it finished, it needs running in and mapping before Japfest :Hammer .

p.s. Shaun, the flywheel is stock diamiter,

Clutch assembly came from Mazdatrix and they tell me it will handle twice what I intend to throw at it.

Can\'t wait to see this running :D

Shaun

I agree, it does look very large in diameter.

I think it will be Interesting to see how the car rolls at low speed, I imagine it to be very jerky, but we all know this car isn\'t going to be going at low speeds:evillaugh :D

Here you go Chris this pic gives a better size prospective,

Had no intention of fitting a seat, but it looks as though its going to have a cheap race seat and a set of belts put in just to get it mapped so it responds how I want it to under race conditions---------then it will get removed.

I have said from the word go, this must be a drivable race car in traffic conditions as I have seen too many cars with power just at the top that bog like mad and then get going at the end of the straight, they can look impressive but it doesn\'t necessarily produce good lap times.
