cheap insurance (direct line online) my quote

hi all
just had an insurance quote online from direct line car insurance, if you order online you get an additional 10% discount!! this is included in quote below.
mazda RX7 turbo 1993, im 25 over 5 years no claims, driving 7 years, no points or convictions, kept in garage, £200 volountary excess, fully comp, only car.
came out at £791.70!!!
i thought that was very good what do you guys and gals think?
think i will definatly buy one soon now

Are you planning on buying a uk spec car? could prove difficult seeing as they only sold 124:( But if you\'re planning on buying a jap spec car then that quote could/will double, if they\'ll insure you at all:mad: And yeah unfortunately you\'ll have to tell them that the car is an import and also make sure they know it is a twinturbo. As they could throw it back in your face if you were ever to make a claim:eek:

well no, this must be for a jap car as i have also had a quote for a group 20 GTO twin turbo (import) and that only came out at 873.60!! there just a good company:D

Just had a go online and they do not recognise the \'96+ RS RX-7, but do recognise a \'95 and give the import R, RS and RB models.

I added my tracker and garage, but none of my modifications......

26yrs old, annual mileage 5000, 5+ yrs ncd. 18k vehicle value.

I turned off all the protected ncd and legal cover etc and put excess down to 0 and got: -

£1121.40

Not really enough to tempt me, plus I bet they are not mod friendly.

They seem to be good though, assuming you\'ll keep everything standard.
