Had my T-Rex dyno (stock ecu)

Had my car on a dyno yesterday (Mon 14 Feb 2012), car has stock ECU and light engine mods (intercooler, decat and k&n).
 
Seems impressive considering car is almost 20 years old churning out 293bhp.
 
There are a couple of small questions and concerns when reading the chart however the next logical thing I will do is buy an Apexi ECU and controller unit. Anyone have one for sale?

Okay okay guys,;) no need to assume or worry that I have a ticking time bomb as it has been professionally upgraded at the specialist garage and by a very well known engineer who has done this sort of work for well over 16 years.
 
 
And to help protect my investment, today I had the coolant system totally drained, flushed out with Evans Prep Fluid to remove all of the water right through and then filled with waterless engine coolant called Evans Power Cool 180 coolant, which is designed for performance cars.

For some this may seem expensive or unnecessart but it isn\'t really when one looks at how much money I have spent on the car so far. Again as said aleady its mainly I want to protect my investment! :cool
 
 
Anyway I paid around £100 for the power cool and the flush fluid was about £40 plus a little extra money for the labour, generally the garage needs the car for the day. (You could save a little money by doing it yourself but I wouldn\'t advise it as they need to drain from a number of hard to get to points).

I have always thought about that 100% engine coolant instead of using water, it can help cool the engine a lot more than anti freeze and water. You have to make sure there is no water in the system at all so flushing and reflushing is essential.

Only disadvantage I can see is if you have to top it up and your somewhere and you don\'t have any coolant?? Adding water means you have to change the whole lot again.

pretty much every tuner on here or that is known as a rotary specialist won\'t run any mods on a stock ecu... all it takes is a boost spike and bye bye engine...

Pure water is the best coolant but I did use Evans for many years on several cars especially turbo cars with high heat soak. As the stuff doesn\'t boil until somethign like 190degC it was good at resisting local boiling and cavitation.
 
As you say you had to be careful not to left anyone else service it or drain the system or you loose a large chunk of cash in a bucket!
