Hi Chaps,
Im very much a Rotary Virgin, and have the want to build a small lightweight rwd 30s car, but as space would be very restricted, a Rotary really does appeal,
Im wanting to build a 250hp NA Rotary, Not sure which way to go, I know a 48/50/52 IDA would work, but I would much rather run a side draught, as my space is limited, Im not afraid of running aftermarket ECU and Injection, or scratch building any part for an engine,  Can I dump the distributor and run a 36-1 crank ring and trigger, then Coil packs?? or is there something else that relies on the dissy drive??
Looking at pictures, I should be able to move the alternator down low, and get rid of the PAS and Aircon.
Im guessing I will be using a RX7 engine of some sort, but which is best??, can the RX8 6 speed be bolted onto the back of the RX7

If you use the RX8 231 engine as a basis that would be best from the noise level point of view as the exhaust ports are different and enable to noise to be lower with good power still.
We warranty our rebuilt engines for Detonation, track day\'s and RWYB and NOW for 30 months which is two and half years or 30,000 miles
We also build all types of race or road engines.
We build race and track cars too.
Any kind of porting undertaken.
Single turbo conversions.
