Forgot another great colour - the Spirit \'R\' only Titanium Grey Metallic. Think it looks wonderful.

Gurj, what colour is your car exactly? Looks fantastic. Think purple is great because it is unusual, makes the car look even more of a one-off. Some purples are terrible (most in fact!) but yours looks spot on. The only other 2 purples that look good are BMW Techno violet and Nissan Midnight Purple. Mmmmmmm. :cool

IBM is a complete classic as well, surely one of the nicest \'stock\' colours from any manufacturer. Only RX colour i\'m not too keen on is Vintage red. Seems to fade a bit on the older models? Brilliant black is class, all the whites (Pure, Chaste and Snow white mica...right?!) look good esp in kitted cars but kinda dull. Silver is lurvely (more silly names...er...Sunlight silver metallic, Silverstone metallic, Highlight silver metallic i think?! :confused: ). Ugh too many colours, i\'m confusing myself neverm ind anyone else!

I know what you mean, it doesn\'t show up as well in photos, find most pearls etc come out exposed badly! Is it similar to Gary Gooding\'s colour? Seen that in the flesh...

And xxx...you\'re joking, right? I don\'t think i\'ve ever seen so many beautiful RX-7s (ESPECIALLY 3rd gens) in one place before. If you\'re not joking...i\'d be interested in seeing what the current \'nice\' FDs in the australian tuning scene are like! :rolleyes:

xxx seems to be a member of the modding is bad club & fair play the RX7 is a beauty in standard form but when you only post to show despair ot peoples modded cars i think you need to spend more time here http://www.chavscum.co.uk/culturecontent.html#cars  & realise a modded 7 is still a lush car & far from maxpower, but each to their own as they say i guess lol

I see...well it\'s true to say the stock FD is one of the most beautiful cars ever designed (in fact i think in 10 years it\'ll be respected like the DB7 is now) but that doesn\'t mean it\'s to everyone\'s taste.

A large part of the cars appeal is it is rare and unique, and personally i see nothing wrong in taking that property and enhancing it! Also, aesthetically speaking, i really think some after-market kits for the FD do make it look even nicer. The Max Power culture is differently entirely...it\'s getting to be ridiculous in terms of the add-ons to the cars. But again, some people simply get a kick from personalising their belongings - whether it\'s a new kitchen unit, the sound settings on a Surround system or the front bumper of their car.

I can see both arguments...and like most things it\'s very subjective...but it\'s not fair to brand the cars here  \'ugly\' just because they don\'t agree with your particular tastes.

 sorry Andy didn\'t get any on the car was going to get some ordered with slight tint to match car but i think the front end looks alot meaner without the covers??

Try the light without the covers see what it looks like you might like it dude?:confused:
