Mir,,

forgive my ignorance but what is the difference between the 2?

I would go with your reccomendations as you know the future plans for my Cosmo, Manual  gearbox,,Single Turbo,, stand alone ECU,,,,,, and with you having a 20B yourself (well for now anyway :cool) you will know what will work best for me

Mir

Ok, I just spoke with the guy in detail. He has kindly agreed that, if we buy 5 or over manifolds he will reduce the price to a great extent. I don\'t wish to pay someone 825dollars plus shipping when I know, I can get it for a cheaper price.

May I kindly ask those who are interested to express their interest and detail their requirements so that I can get the final quote for everyone which will be discounted one. The guy is very genuine and he already said that, the more manifolds I buy off him the lower he will go in pricing. Which is fair enough.

Cheers

Umm well on a 20b people(and I) prefer T6 Flange. However, I just saw a car which produced over 1000RWHP, on T4 flange, Custom AR1.22 and 88mm Wheel.

So for your application, if you want a nice road Set Up, T51SPL is going to be ideal. Firstly, it\'s Ball bearing turbo-quick Spool up, Secondly, it sounds really well, Thirdly, it holds it\'s value and comes with T4 flange and lastly it can produce over 800hp if you decided to ever reach that high

For your application, I would happily copy my design which I built after spending numerous hours of research, however, I would suggest installing a T4 flange on it unless you want to join my club, the Nuts Club, and go GT4788 BB turbo with T6 flange.

Cheers

I am on it Ed, but the guy I am dealing with is way too honest. He wants to charge people for the work they need doing. He is scared of "over pricing" as he believes in repeat custom.

So far so good. I am sure once all the questioned are answered, I will happily put the prices. I have already received the price list which will be uploaded soon

Mir, I am not as bonkers as you  :evillaugh,, the road set up sounds ideal copying your design which I am sure looks spot on but go with the T4 flange..

Thanks

Just received an email from the guy, tonight he is going to do what I told him to do for me :D. Tomorrow morning hopefully I would have all the info. He just sent me a one pic of his recently developed manifold, man, that was just awesome. I can\'t wait to introduce his work in the UK. Top guy and extra honest.

Keep asking me questions guys. It\'s a good mental exercise for us

Ok just received first part of the communication.

About the Company I am going to use, here what they say about themselves.

"We are able to fabricate and weld the following materials:

Stainless steels (304,316,321)
Aluminum
Titanium
Superaustenitic stainless steels such as AL-6XN
Super Duplex steels
Mild steels, carbon steels, and chromoly (roll cages, frame, engine girdles, etc.)

All of our piping is done in accordance with B31.3, which is above and beyond any automotive requirement.

All manifolds and downpipes are purged with %100 Argon for %100 joint penetration.
All flanges are welded both inside and out.

All flanges used on exhaust manifolds are .50" thick

We can supply custom fuel rails, fittings, brackets, etc. with our manifolds.

We have the largest Mazak rotary laser in the US in-house, and are able to cut our geometry to within .002" tolerance (0.05mm).

We design all of our parts in 3D using SolidWorks.

The biggest limitation is simply not having a customer\'s personal car to work with... everyone has different set-ups with different parts, different turbos, etc.. which makes it impossible to make a "one size fits all" solutions, obviously. However when it comes to the rotary engine bay we have a very good grasp on how things fit, and can and cant be done."

Cheers

I have seen the pictures on rx7club and I was thinking it was your manifold. Looks really good, hopefully will do the job for you.

When is the turbo coming?
