jacking up an fd

Need to jack up my fd to adjust the coilovers but a bit unsure the best place to put the jack? i cant use the bits on the side that iv seen shown in some places as iv got side skirts moulded on.
the car is low so im gona drive up on some wood to get a bit of clearance.
 
any advice would be appreciated!

if i\'m raising the back i tend to use the diff or the tow hooks.

For the front i tend to use the jacking points. Make sure you either have a piece of wood or one of those large rubber pads on the jack

see in that link you posted up, in post 6 thats an interesting looking strut bar, whats that all about?
