First up welcome to Mazdarotaryclub :Thumbsup!

Really looks like the clutch just was not man enough also I may be wrong but I have never seen an Exedy clutch that looked like that center plate, maybe its a stock pressure plate with a no name center plate.

Still whatever it was it cetainly did not have enough clamp pressure to go drifting,

Any ideas how much power you have, if not what Turbo are you running etc, if we know this maybe we can advise with help.

is your flywheel looking ok? no heat cracks? what is the material on the friction plate made of?

i can put you in touch with a company that cant take your frictionplate and put new pads on, made of the material of your choice, kevlar (normally used by the off road guys as they can take huge amounts of heat without breaking down, be left to cool for twenty mins then theyre like new) or ceramic plates (these will more than likely wear down your pressure plate and flywheel faster than the actual ceramic pads, but with the ceramic plates they will bite very hard and take drifting abuse well IMO)

however using a standard pressure plate still might not be good enough to gain the benefit of the ceramic friction plate.

fly wheel has gouges out of it is it possible to take the 3 dowels out and get it lathed or milled into its original shape with all the rite dimentions for the presure plate and frictionplate levils an then go for another clutch kit. Cars puting close to 400 bhp on a single turbo wat wud b a gud kit to go for or shud i just get one of them clutch an flywheel kits. wat way do u set the clutch pedal 2 as i was messing with that satday to c if i cud get bit more bite.

If you have gouges in your flywheel chances are it is FUBAR\'d. A new flywheel and clutch assembly are most definately on the cards.

Check out //www.mazdarotaryparts.com for different clutches and prices. A twin plate would be ideal for you but be prepared to pay for it.

Didn\'t Exedy make the Blueprint stock replacement ????

Very much not up to the job for a single turbo at 400bhp.

The man that built my engine an all put this clutch on it said it was exedy but maby its not up to the mark of track drifting so mite hav a look at these twin plate clutches i need something thats gona take a fair bit a abuse.

The clutch Ed is looking at getting in is a double plate setup that may be up to what you need.
