Im looking too swap my power steering on my s5 turbo 2 to a manual rack is it more or less a straight swap?
I assume the manual rack will offer straight up to the universal joints and splines of the steering shaft of a power steering model??

Lastly! Has anyone got a manual rack they would like to exchange for some coinage?? :)

what was the manual rack like to live with then?? I\'m simply looking to swap mine out as It\'s one less thing to go wrong as its not really going to be a daily.

everything bolted up to everything:).  steering linkage bolted up, have to use the same tie rods(manual use manual and power steering use power steering tie rods), and the tie rods connect to the hubs just like normal

i used it as a daily and it was ok to live with.  slow speeds was a real PITA, but other than that it was ok.  felt like i almost broke a finger when i caught the wheel the wrong way while drifting, since im a noob at drifting i figured make it alittle easier on me and went power steering

Well tbh i was looking to swap to the manual rack for drifting as my power steering has caused me nothing but issues and id like shot ideally but i have no idea how these handle for drifting purposes with a manual rack??

de power your power streeing rack, its an easy job and works better than the non power streering rack, less turns lock to lock, there was a great thread on team fc3s.com about this but that site seems to have closed,
