Can anyone tell me how to tell the difference between the Engine rotor from a T2 rotor and a FD?

I must be getting old i have 4 rotors i know one set is from a T2 and the other is T2 but for the life of me can\'t remember which is which?? I supose in the scheme of things it won\'t really matter but its driving me mad so i\'d like to know :)

evening mate,  glad to see you are still playing with rotors.
some say only the very late fd ones were clearanced. Other than that they will be the same.  Check the weight markings or weigh them and pick the closest pair
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

Are you sure they are series 5 T2 rotors rather than series 4 turbo rotors? The series 4 rotors will have a lower compression

Hi there :wave

Been out of the Rotary world for a bit thanks to the Company i was working for going under :( but things are on the up and up so i\'ve decided to get the wraps off the FD :)

As for the Rotors i know they came for Either a S5 T2 or a 1994 FD and looking at them they all seem to be marked "C" which is a bit of a bonus :)

Yeh, i\'m very sure. The last set of S4 Rotors i had went in my T2 a while back so i defo know they aren\'t those.

both s5 and FD rotor ID by the machine grooved marks within the bath recess

( s5 rotor pictured )
s5 rotor ID by the rounded edges of the bath ( like s4 ) , FD rotor bath is squarer at the ends
