fd power fc on a fc turbo2 89+ car

fd Apexi power FC with hand controller, FD air temp sensor and FD MAP sensor is this all i need to put the fd power fc onto a fc turbo 2 to also get rid of the afm?

also im looking at running a fd intake manifold on the fc are all the plug points just plug and play or would it be easyer to have a fd wire harness and fd sensors?

u need a banza-iracing.com harness kit to plug in the fd pfc into fc. comes with harness, fd ait, 3bar map sensor.
i think you have to do a coil mod also. check out the site for info

shame so its not going to be as simple as it sounds?

what about power fcs that you can get for the fc turbo do they get rid of the afm?

if not ill just go with a greddy ultima which was my origonal plan.

just noticed something you could make your own harness using there pic??

also quick question are all power fcs the same and its just the maps and harnesses that are diffrent?? or are they all car specific??

fc specific pfc are hard to come by and still need harness.
theyare fd (92-95) spec pfc but reworked to fit fc.

fd (92-95) are 8 bit, 95+ are 16bit so wont work with fc.

fc pfc gets rid of afm but still need fd ait, 3 bar map sensor. no need to do coil mod.

greddy would work out cheaper. prof is using greddy and he is making good power. plus more inputs / outputs to add more injectors / wi etc.

yer cozx i have a e-01 boost controler to put on which hooks up to the greddy and you can record and also see boost probs ect more clearly + you can do tuning or something threw the e-01 with a greddy attached. power fc would be nice.
 
just wondered if it would be easyer to fit a hole fd wire harness though?? as im re building all the wires in the car wondered if it would be easyer to do this as im going to be running no afm and fd intake manifold.??

if you making new loom then might as well figure out the pin outs of the apexi then wire the loom appropriately. no need to buy harness then.

using fd TB has 4 wires and fc TB has 3. iirc 2 of the fd wires plug into 1 for the fc loom. but cant think which ones lol

im sure somewhere there will be a lost of what wires are for what on the power fc as i have a full wire manual for a uk are at home its 3 folders big.lol
 
why i didnt know if im going to make a wire harness if i could backly put all the fd stuff into the car and backly have a fc car with fd engine and loom in i know i would need an ecu or a fd power fc and all the sensors from a fd but there are enough brakers about to get all the parts.

if you can make then worth making new loom as through age wires get brittle and continuity (is that right word to use) decays.
esp for fc looms.

might as well go full hog with the rebuild

Any idea of where i can get a full wire diagram or full repair manual i have one for the fc but a fd one. Im assuming mine is a copy of the Mazda one but it has every detail about the car
