RX7SA

Hi all,

I am introducing myself as I am new to this club and new to the whole rotary - RX7 ownership.
I have always loved the RX7 especially the 1stgen models. So I saw this white one in a sory state on the Rotechniks website, took a trip over to check her out and a couple weeks later she was mine. I have attached a couple of photos and you can see she needs a lot of work but hey I just don\'t want to see another of these cars scrapped or used for donor parts hey.
I nice surprise is the 13B under the bonet so I shall be taking it out as part of the resto for a nice halfbridge rebuild ;). Looking forward to getting stuck in if a little concerned about the amount of work but hey, everyone likes a project right ;)

Hey, mate, welcome to MRC. Glad to see you made it on here, then. Like I said, wish you all the best and much kudos for taking on a resto job like that. I\'m sure the inestimable Mr Nock will be asking after the reg number of your car shortly lol

Ian65

welcome.... wondered where this car had gone

RX7SA

Thanks for the welcome!
Ian, I take it you have seen it was sold on the Rotechniks website? I would like to say she has gone to a good home haha
Hey Nik da Greek, yeah made it on here as well, lots of helpful tips an support from the guys and girls on this forum by the looks of it. Thanks fine if Mr Nock does, Good to know as much about my car as possible hey.
Lisa thanks for the link thats a great help.

So I am starting on this now and first things first, apart form the rust, is to strip the car down completely and to sort the rust, take the engine out, sort the rust (there\'s a theme here ;) ) strip the brakes, replace all the bushes, shocks and springs and a dam good clean up haha. Should be fun, once the rust is sorted!
