Does anyone know what material the inner arches of an fd are made from.
I need to extend mine due to wide kit so any help appreciated:Thumbs-up

Did you get this done in the end dude?  (Curious as to your results because I need to do something about mine  )

I would be interested to know as well, need new ones for the wider arches, and been useless at asking how or what!

I\'ve used thin ally to remake the front section of one of mine which was torn off. However I use ABS for all sorts of the other parts plus an undertray recently so some 1.5mm ABS sheet would be very pliable especially with a heat gun to hand.

Cheers dude.

I know people have repaired them (and undertrays) using a soldering iron and some metal pressed into them (like from paperclips!)

why dont you try getting a second set and cut and shut the two sets to make them wider. You are guaranteed a good fit then?  The standard ones are stapled together.

Oh,  by the way i have a set in for sale section :)
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!
