On my FD they are quite slow in returning to the closed position, doesn\'t seem to make a difference if the engine is on or off so i am pretty sure it\'s not a power issue..

From your experience, is it more likely to be the motors on their way out or do I need to grease / lubricate the runners and if that is the case, whats the best thing to use ?

Thanks in advance..

If its any consolation, mine are the same. I\'ve sprayed WD40 down the window channels and put grease on the runner inside the door frame. But they still operate slowly.

Do you do them both at the same time ?

CharlieP

1- Give them a good clean
2- Try to get some WD-40 on any mechanical/wired parts
3- Use silicone spray (like the shiny dash stuff) on rubber seals

Ceratainly helps, done it a few times now, and windows go up faster, and smoother

yeah, don\'t do this :Hammer

i have to do mine one by one or it\'s painful, i\'ve probably got a dodgy earth somewhere but i haven\'t found it yet...

Thanks for the advice...

I don\'t generally tend to do them up at the same time to be  honest as it\'s generally only me in the car, i do know that they are both pretty slow though....
