Hi,

Just recently my rev limit buzzer has been randomly buzzing even at low revs (often when pulling off). It even stayed on constantly the other day until I revved it actually to the limit then it quietened down again!

I guess its shorting somewhere, but wheres it actual location so I can check it?

Also does anyone know of a clutch slave cylinder for sale anywhere, as mine has had a bit of a leak for a while now (fine as long as I remember to top it up before I set off, its just annoying when I forget and can\'t get into gear at a roundabout! :D :Hammer )

Cheers...

Actually - the same buzzer does quite a few jobs - it\'s also used for low oil warning, low brake fluid level and also for low coolant level - so check those out too - the warning lights should also be on for whichever of those it is - oil can, (P) symbol or radiator symbol.

Ah, thank you Prof. I haven\'t noticed any dash lights on but I\'ll check all my levels :D

Prof

you may have a blown bulb (most of them should come on as a lamptest when you first put the key in the ignition and before cranking), but I\'ve had some bulbs just mechanically dislodge and not work - a quick fiddle and they are back again - by the way the warning lights cluster is a PITA to get out - the connector is difficult to get to ;)

Or you might be low on coolent - in which case, reving it to the limit wasn\'t the best idea!
