Anyone else done it? Pictures? Mine doesn\'t work anyway so was thinking it would look much better without the damn thing there, you can get those little black caps for the blanking out the hole as well.

What are anyones thoughts?

Ben, do you not remember us discussing wiper removal & arcade button replacement stuff a long while ago? It was when the white (EGI?) was up for sale that had one on it. :)

Between ages of about 16-21 i consumed vast amounts of narcotic substances! :bandit

Sometimes i have trouble remembering random conversations as a result of this, so no i don\'t remember... However your probably right it was most likely discussed before hand i\'ll look through for sale thread see if i can find it. Where did you get your arcade button thing from? Looks like it fits perfect.

Might look into de-wipering this weekend, is it easy enough to do without me destroying something?

NeilSR

Its just one nut to remove the wiper itself, then I assume its just a couple of nuts and unclipping a wire to remove the motor

B.Martin

Ah great stuff, i\'ll do it saturday.

Thanks Neil.

Just make sure that if you go with arcade button style you waterproof the arcade button first, otherwise you\'ll have it pool on the inside of the button and drip inside. :/

I\'ll remove it, measure it, then order what i need next week... Chance of me getting rained on out here are somewhat minimal though, washed her the other day so a microfbre rub down and polish will suffice this weekend :Giggle

Yeah yeah, at least I don\'t get sunburned looking out the window :p

Oh who said this was easy???

I\'ve had a frickin nightmare trying to do this! I\'ve got the wiper off but that little \'stump\' is impossible the nut underneath has corroded away and has rounded off. I\'ve even taken the mechanism off to see of I can get to it from underneath, needless to say with no joy... Why is nothing ever simple with these cars???
