Rob,

Can i ask why the person left a deposit backed out?

When will this be registered? I enquired before but noticed it wasn\'t registered so wasn\'t keen..

can you let me know once this is registered? email natthapon_b@hotmail.com

also is the de-cat come with the car also?

RobMatthews

The guy backed out because he decided it would take to long to register and wanted it befor the end of the month,
I was gonna leave registration for two reasons, 1 was I didn\'t want to insure the car to register it(more expenditure I cant really afford) and 2 it would mean the new owner be the first person on the v5 which some people seem to like, I have all the paperwork here ready to fill out.
I can include the de-cat if required
I can

No way associated with Rob and not plugging the car but find that an odd reason!

I have registered many cars and enjoyed being the first owner on the paperwork! From memory, registration used to take like a week tops, why is that such a bad thing when you are getting an a1, never used on british road car?

Natthapon

I think the car is great, and looks a1 condition.

I\'m just not keen on doing the registeration bit myself just my personal preference.

Also, I have no way of getting an unregistered car home without having to hire some  one to collect and deliver on a tralier etc which ain\'t cheap living the top of scotland.. I don\'t have access to trade plates etc,

You would be surprised, i got a quote of £250 ish from Glasgow and i am on the south coast!

Obviously its your call, im just saying its not as complicated as some might think. Its a shame Rob cant register it in your name, but you have to do it in person!

RobMatthews

You can send all the documents in via recorded delivery,

It was £500 ish from yorkshire to where i am.. As i was going to buy the purple RX7 on here with the over heating prob then found it was previously written off also.

So from where this car is i\'d be looking close to 1k for transport..

Ah well, not with who i contacted, if i remember will let you know!

But anyway, with being able to submit the paperwork through the post, there is no reason not too now :)

Natthapon

Rob,

If you can think of away we can do this, with use of post etc... I\'m open to idea\'s ideally i\'d like to view the car first but would like to avoid 2 journey\'s.

Did you manage to get the document that proved the duty had been paid etc??

michaeljohnrx7

I had my rx7 delivered from London to 10miles north Glasgow for £240 plus shiply booking fee of around £30-£40, just cant see it costing another £720 from Glasgow to Aberdeen for delivery.

And had another car delivered from near Knockhill to Glasgow for £115

Where in Aberdeen are you anyway, inland or near the city?

If you want I can give you the contact details of the couriers I used, save you the shiply booking fee :)

Natthapon

I had many quotes over 500 including the vat... Cheapest was £425 + vat from York,

I\'m not in Aberdeen i\'m north of aberdeen. No need to ruin the for sale thread with this.. If you can prove me a cheaper quote to transport good AB41 from Redruth, Cornwal it won\'t really change anything as i would still have to make the trip to view the car, Which again would add to the cost.

I won\'t buy a car without it being registered or if some kind of deal could be made that payment isn\'t made till registered, which would be a risk to the seller..
