Are you prepared to do that?

Grant can you confirm what brand of tyres your mate can get - Mickey Thompson, Hoosier etc?

I will get in touch with ASAP. And then let you know

rbs14a

mickey t\'s can no longer be easily imported to europe due to the nature of their manufacture therefore they demand a premium price. your best bet is hoosiers which should be readily available but still not cheap.

would the following tyres fit in my FD?

275 40 18 Toyo R888 99W

Any help is appreciated. I am told that, 275 is the max you can go on the standard FD. So any help is appreciated.

a street car doesnt have to have an interior

Mir

Yes but I like to keep the Rex with interior and everything! Stripped interior etc etc, is not my taste!

I think rbs14a was taking the p*** about the tyres actually fitting inside your car.

I managed to fit 265/35/18 on the rear of my FD. Without rolling the arches, but they were deeply dished. I don\'t know what the offset would have been though. If you go to a good wheel and tyre distributorthey will know what offsets and widths of wheel/ tyre youcan go to without getting into rolling arches and stuff.

If they don\'t know that kind of stuff then they aren\'t worth spending the money with IMO
