I\'m trying to install an aluminium rad in my FD and I can\'t seem to get the front part of the rad to sit low enough. It seems to be catching on the mounting brackets at the corners on the car.

Anyone had a similar problem? And solution?

Thanks!

Yeah, I chopped what I needed to to get it in!

Was it just those brackets in the corner you had to chop? Or anything else?

Think I hacked away some of the number support that protruded into the bay at the front.  Basically Ilowered it in, saw where it caught and chopped! Rinse and repeat.

OK Thanks. Will give it another go tomorrow morning. Hopefully I get it in quick otherwise the standard rad is going back in. Going travelling with the car on Monday and got loads of stuff to sort out before I go and no time!

can you take pics of it? Is it a koyo? Why I ask is that, there are a few aftermarket rads out there that are really thick. The koyo N-flow are the tightness rads you can put in without modifications.
