Hi,

What have you Single Turbo bods used for a Oil drain flange on the engine side?

I bought a AN10 flange to bolt onto the existing front oil drain from the twins, but the location of the lower bolt means its impossible to thread the AN10 hose onto it.

I went for a T4 flange which I put on a Hose barb and ran by SS line from the turbo to this with a clamp.  Problem is with heat etc its starting seep and the fitment is a bit of a bodge anyways.

I have tried to find a AN10 flange on some sort of neck so it protudes away from the engine and the tension bolt, but to no avail.

Can any one point me in the right direction?

what turbo setup are you running..

Ive had a few issues on my car back home in aus - 13bt large street port with a gt35r. Its running a -3 feed and i was using a -10 drain and was seeing alot of smoke out the rear and also seeping through the comp blades of the turbo..

i spoke to a mate who works at Garrett turbos in and he said increase the size and your seeping prob will go away so I replaced the -10 with a -12 and all went away!

The TO4r im running on my 12a FB is oil feed only and running -4 feed and -10 drain and havent had any issues..im running a speedflow -10 45 deg off the turbo and a straight on the engine side - i did how ever have a -10 alloy AN fitting welded onto the front cover...

If your not sure call one of the well known turbo shops and ask them.

this is what im using...

its a t4 -10 drain fitting for the turbo... to a 45 degree -10an fitting to -10an hose... to -10an 45degree to a -10 to m18x1.5 male to male fitting then took a stock turbo drain, chopped off the pipe... drilled and tapped the flange and fitted the m18 male to male it in... pain in the arse to fit and remove though...

I cut the drain tubes for the standard turbo\'s just before the \'bellows\', and got some high temp Aeroquip rubber hose that fitted over it very tightly. Jubillee\'d it into place.
Did the same at the turbo end, then covered with heat sleeve :)

We are just in the process of having some new flanges made for the oil drain side of the turbo.

lol £36? i paid 45 for all the parts in my drain and that left me with an extra fitting and 50cm of -10 braided hose left over... that was for everything!! all fittings and flanges... which people will have to buy fittings on top of your part... good value ;)
