Yeh it was the later jet car run so a few of the FD\'s had left early to miss the queues to get out.
It was that nice that i\'ve got a slight sun burn to my face :o

I\'ve got serious sunburn to one side of my face, mainly from being stuck in that ****ing contraflow on the M1 so long with the window open and the sun beating in. Fduking Citroens, shouldn\'t be allowed

Not to rub it in or anything but we were very lucky as it happened. We tried to follow you into the contraflow and got really upset when the damn big range rover next to me wouldn\'t let me in behind you.
Only once we\'d driven on a few hundred yards did we see how bad the traffic was going to be for you :o

Yeah, I definitely zigged when I should have zagged lol. The bloke in that Range Rover was stuck behind me, he was getting a right ol ear bashing off his missus for a while. She went and sat on the vergey bit along the concrete barriers for a while in a huff. The Skyline R33 two cars in front was pretty trick, I had a look at his built-in camera set up, one in the rear number plate and one in the splitter. Pretty cool. Y\'see, you develop wonderful sense of community at times like this lol. And I got to read a few chapters of that book you leant me :rollin

this looks like a good day out, just wish i lived closer. anybody coming up to the car show in edinburgh on the 17th of july, i wanna go cause they used a black fd and a skantilly clad blonde as the advertisment in the scottish sun

I know it\'s not as far as Scotland, but I\'m hardly local to the Pod lol. I\'ve got at least a 2 1/2 hour drive each way (more like 3 1/2 on the way back, grrr) and it\'s over a 300 mile round trip.

Neil\'s got a very red face, with funny panda eyes from his sunglasses. He\'s having to work from home for a couple of days! :Giggle

I was a bit windsweapt and my eyes were really sore from all the smoke and dirt from the drifting and Mr Grant.

Great day though - Neil\'s Sister and Nephews loved their first visit to The Pod, shame they can\'t all get in my car.
