sorry for thread hijack but on your car when you are on full boost where does you boost gauge needle sit? mine in term of performace seems to boost ok but the needle is only 3/4 of way up not sure if it should be all the way to the top or not and not manyy 99spec owners around to compare with.

Back off holiday now guys if anyone is still interested :)

Declaring this off the road for now as I\'m driving my other car for the time being so it doesn\'t make sense to keep taxing this.

Thanks

Had no joy with this yet surprisingly, so lowering the price to £9000 as my final reduction. Otherwise i think I\'ll just keep it :)

My 2000 RS goes to 9 on the 10kPa scale if that helps. Free bump.

shame this is at the wrong time, exactly what im looking for for my first rex, unfortunalty havnt the budget for that at the moment, as ive got an ST 205 WRC sat in the garage that needs to go first, nobody unfortunatly seems to be buying cars that burn holes in your pocket!

Yeah i\'d be keeping it if i hadn\'t moved into a new house, in the 6+ years i\'ve had it it\'s been a pure joy!

Surprised I\'ve had no takers, ah well, guess I\'ll have to list it on autotrader/eBay and hope for the best :)

It\'s a lovely looking car, I\'ve been watching it a while now.

Compared to the Type RS I assume the Type RB-S

Has slightly less power output? 265HP vs 280HP?
Different suspension shocks and springs a bit softer?
Smaller Diameter brakes compared with RS/RZ specs?
RS has slightly different wheel design? A bit nicer IMHO.

Any other differences that you are aware of?

For me it\'s priced a bit high, because if I was to bring the car to Ireland I would need to pay VRT (which is another 1,500 euro on top of current asking price). Also Euro is weak right now so not good when converting to pounds.

Otherwise I\'d definitely be more interested. However I really am trying to source a good car locally.

Can you tell me if this car is classified as a Japanese Import from an insurance perspective or is it classified as a UK sold vehicle?
