Where is this supposed to go?

I\'ve been doing an engine build and I\'ve got this pip that I have no idea where it is supposed to connect to... I can\'t see anything on the engine itself or anything in the engine bay..

It comes out of the rats nest between the air pump and the turbo in 2 pipes and then joins with a T-Piece... I have no idea where it connects to and I can\'t seem to find it in the technical manual or the Haynes manual that I have, could somebody help me out please? :)

Edit: I\'m not 100% sure that it is the correct pipe on the very end, it\'s just the only pipe I seemed to have left in the box of bits...

Whats is connected to? If its connected to the air pump it might be ment to plug into the cat

BinoX

It\'s connected to the solid pipe "rats nest". It\'s not actually connected to the turbo of the air pump, that\'s just what the pipes stick out between...

I might be able to get a pic of that if it\'ll help, but it\'s a bit of a tight squeeze

OK.. here\'s a couple of pics...

The 1st is a pic of the plain "rats nest" with the 2 lines that converge to the T-Piece circled

The 2nd is a pic of the pipes positions when on the engine (turbo on the left, airpump on the right)

iirc the two circled in red in the above pic are oil breather pipes that plug into the pipe that connects the maf sensor to the turbo.
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

Hmm.. It could very well be... It would certainly explain why I couldn\'t see where it went...

I only have the engine here, the pipes and the car are all up at the workshop at work... I\'m taking the engine up there tomorrow morning to drop it in and fit the new clutch slave... I\'ll check it when everything is being put together...

Thanks very much :)

Thank you very much. That was exactly what it was...

The whole engine is rebuilt, in, connected and running now (hooray)

Waiting on a clutch master cylinder from MRP. which should be here on Friday and then I\'ll be giving it a test drive around the carpark before taking it home and putting it away until MOT time comes around...

It\'s a bit smokey at the moment, but I hope that it will all burn off/out :)
