First try 1040kg dry weight, about 46/54. What was surprise is that we thought that its about 1100kg and more weight in back...

Second try after four hours of work was with more even corners weights. Bro made lots of work to get them even and more weight to rear.

Keep in mind that class minimum weight is 1060kg...

Dry weight was 1004,5 kg with huge differens between corners FR/FL 43 kg. After six hour: 1061 kg with 55.5 kg extraweight and corners is looking bit better. FR/FL 9.5 kg
I will post scale sheets and some photos when im done with it.

Thats a big task. :)

First picture is starting point. I remembered incorrect front weights, but youl get the point. Its horrible un balanced.
Second picture is from the office, where you can see the weigts i used to demostrate drivers and missing flywheel weights.
3. Pic. I needed to use imagination to have 55.5 kgs extra to balance the awfull front and to get her to right battleweight. Orange case is 13 kg of petrol...
4. Pic. Is without "petrol" with 4 kg washerfluid.
5. Pic. With petrol. Mind how front balance slides from right to left depending petrol case. It means, when she has 6.5 kg petrol, shes front balanced and rear is in 1 kg differense. Rear balance doesnt have to be so accurate but front should be should in 10 kg differense in all times.
I cant wait to have those motorcycle brakes, its 36 kgs off, and ill have more extra weight to back. 55.5 + 36 kgs heheheh looking good.
At this point i am pleased even it took almost 10 hours job to balance her this close to perfect. Very pleased.
Next huge job is to get ridof those weights on drivers seat....

Using corner weight scales sure helps. I bet there's a fair few people that build a race car and never even bother to balance their car, I probably wouldn't, but I would do now Iv seen what you can do with it!!

I weigh 96kg so imagine how much my weight would throw out the balance of the car!

:D :) Grant, you are almoust on grown-up weight... if i have to loose weight, it needs more surgical operations. I could waste nails, 1 lung, 1 kidney, half liver and both testies...😊

Specially on gravel, loose traction, balance is important. If front isnt correct it easilly locks up the lighter side, on hard braking. Surely its same situation on wet tarmac.

No amount of weight saving would bring me to losing my tested

Bro allready drilled holes to vipers :) I think weight saving was something like 200g. One dude cutted all his bolts which were too long, on finished car. Weigh loss was about 2kg... :)

Also, keep in mind that extra weight isnt bad, if it is in correct place :)

On thing really confuses me is that car is still abit nose heavy. I quess that frame is so heavy...

But as shown in this case, FB can be very light, if you really want to lose some weight of it :D

Yes, balance is everything. Actually funny thing is how weight kind of shift from corner to another corner everything what you do affects on opposite side of car. We learner that watching Janne balancing his Lada.

One our friend is almost 2m long and weights about 120kg. Volvo PVs cabin is basically full of that dude :)
