de-airbagging a 99RS

Is it possible to put a non airbag Momo steering wheel onto a 1999 car which currently has a Nardi wheel with airbag.  I have removed the airbag and wheel to reveal within the steering column a yellow disk with text and small box with the air bag wire and horn wire coming from it.  Is there a boss that would clear this small connector box or can this disc be removed and somthing done about the airbag warning light?

If you look on rhdjapan.com you will find a boss by HKS that you can use. What condition is your steering wheel in?

Sorry to be a vulture, but I am after a Nardi wheel and bag if you are getting rid.

Do a google search, plenty of info out there, you basically have to connect the wires that go to the air bag, this shorting out fools the warning lights that the airbag is still there.  A warning light on is an MOT fail.

Thanks for all the information, I\'ll check out the rhdjapan site.  Has anyone else done this swap?  Also is it just a case of a loop of wire from one contact to another in the airbag plug to maintain a circuit to keep the light off (providing there is space inside the bose for the defunct plug).  The wheel is in good condition but I will be hanging onto it to refit when I sell the car (as I did previously)
