Hi folks, does anyone know any good suppliers of rubber bushes as most of mine have perished. Can you get a complete set for the whole car or do you have to buy individually?

Any ideas gratefully received.

I think when I looked, the rubber bushes from Mazda were quite pricey so I went for polybushes in the end...
Here\'s the ones I bought...

Hi Paul, I bought Poly bushes too, just like Ian & Steve. However I went the UK route from Superpro Europe Limited for £215 with next day delivery. These really are an excellent set but you would also need to buy the anti-roll bar drop links from Mazda as a seperate item (£40 extra).

The hardest part is removing the original bushes - drill out is the easiest way.
When re-fitting it is best to use a \'fly press\' although you can get away with a vice in the garage for everthing BUT the Watts Link - good luck.
ps Have a look at my thread on Goldie for extra info and some advise or PM me or email me cliff dot c at virgin dot net

I\'ve been using these for the past 2 yrs and they have been very good. Fair amount of work to fit but well worth the cost. Dollar was much better back then though, cost just over £100 on my door !

Ian

I\'ve decided to go with the bushes you purchased at Re Speed but can you just confirm it is a complete kit and that there is nothing else I would need to buy from Mazda as some others have had to with kits from the UK. Also I noticed you paid about £140 to the door, was that including any import duties?

Thanks

Paul

Hi Paul,
the kit was totally complete.... all bushes, anti roll bars links, crush tubes, lube, the lot and fantastic quality.... nothing else to buy. That was what put me off the UK and Aussie kits, having to buy extra parts to complete the job... no such worries with the ReSpeed kit.
I paid £140 delivered which included the purchase price ( I bought the full $160 kit), the shipping, import duty and vat.
In order to get the price down, I ordered a kit together with Steve-A and as Billy at respeed shipped both kits together in one box, we shared the shipping, vat and import duty which gave us a total cost of £140 each.

Your best bet would be to try to find someone else who wants a kit as well and share the shipping with them.

Thoroughly recommend the bushes though.

Thanks Ian, will probably e-mail them and see what they think.

The only thing the kit doesn\'t include is the steering idler arm bush. I kinda hoped it would s it includes all the other bushes to do with steering/suspension, but I can also see that it\'s kinda different type of bush.

Thanks Steve, will remember that when changing them.

I\'ve got a polybush one in the FB, they aren\'t very expensive.

Did it make much difference Shaun? I\'ve gone for a pair of new Mazda ones.

poly ones were recommended to me..... the Mazda bushes don\'t last 5 minutes... or you could get serious about it and fit this...
