What headlights are best?

There maybe a thread on this already, but i am looking to upgrade my headlight from the stock, i know there is a range of types, but anyone got an suggestions on what is the best. I know some are good, but may require a a bulb upgrade.

Its for a 94 FD.

The choice is yours matey & it depends on how deep your pockets are!!
The ebay cheepys are a little naff in looks once on teh car, but if you go foe something like a cwest kit or RE:A then you are talking big money! the other apotion is the twin light pop ups like the Mazdaspeed ones, again big money, but there are some aftermarket versions of these and they are prety slick..... HID\'s I would say is a must mind on any of these!! The other option is, if you have the skills and time, come up with your own creation

I really like the look of the re-amemiya ones, but have also seen the twin light pop ups which look good.

One thing about the RE:A i heard is the standard bulbs are not so good, so it is worth getting higher bulbs, but this can get put more pressure on the wiring kit. Don\'t know too much about it and haven\'t seen them in action to tell.

Is there a blub that can replace the original that is much brighter if i wanted a cheaper solution for the time being?

yes, don\'t go for any bigger wattage bulbs as they have a tendancy to fry the loom as it is only made to handle 55w bulbs! best bet is to invest in a set of ID\'s, this might even convince you to stick with the stock lights!!! But no matter what you go for, HID\'s are a must as it gets the best out of all the after market kits out there!!
