Just fitted ferodo Ds2500 on the RX7 on the front but undecided about  the rear pads should I match the same as the front or is it a overkill  for the rear and just buy standard pads will on use for street use mainly

i had the same up front as you and fitted the hawk fast road pads on the rear they work very well. i read some threads about pads before i bought them and they were highly reccomended by many people

Im running a full set of pads made by RacingBrake. They are for fast road use and the odd track day. Can\'t fault them really. MRP sorted me out with them and they were a fair bit cheeper than the Hawks.
I don\'t need to upgrade my stock turbo to beat your ass!

Get your finger out, get it on the road and start driving it then!!! (B.Martin 25/2/12)

Hawk HPS, HP+ or Racingbrake ET500 will all work well with this pad up front

Hope this helps
All the best Clive

Why not just stick with the same compound front and rear.

They are going to react in the same way then

Absolutly agree, by going different pads front to rear all your doing is buggering up the brake bias/balance also they\'ll fade at different temps.

If you\'re a spirited/track driver you really don\'t want to start locking up the rears because the fronts got too hot first, or tramline because the backs faded first.

The same with front only BBK\'s..... great for showing off useless for driving.
Lil-Steve is.... loving it when a plan comes together.
