I just bought a 1983 rx7 with 43000 miles and I\'m wondering about some good online parts stores

captainbizzaro

For what sort of things mate-general service items or upgrade bits?

Welcome to the forum as an owner and may you have many years of enjoyment along with interesting experiences.
You say you have just bought a 1983 FB series 2, what clour - blue by any chance?

I\'m sure if you can be more precise on "parts stores", you\'ll get just the help you need from here.

Another gold one, capitano, cliff & steve have more company!

Dammit, I was enjoying the exclusivity of there only being a couple of gold ones, then they keep appearing out of nowhere :P

Only joking, welcome to the forum :) There are quite a few performance parts suppliers in the states, but the postage wait and getting thought customs can be a pain.

Mazda Rotary Parts, who are associated with this forum can help with basic service bits.

Recently a few members have gone to Mazda dealers and been surprised by whats still available, such a rear valance panels for £40. On the other hand my local dealer reeled in horror on the phone line when I said it was a 1st gen and basically lost interest in helping me then!

Atomic Rex are developing a whole range over very serious competition based parts for the FB, but quality doesn\'t come cheap....

Hi doggdf.....I\'ve looked over my register but can\'t see a likely candidate with low miles like yours....Only one car, which went to Ireland in 2008.

It\'s not that car I don\'t suppose?

I would love a Reg No. for my Register please, Gold cars are pretty scarce as said above.

If you don\'t want it up here then you could email me on dgnock at btopenworld dot com

No obligation though if you don\'t want to give it.

Hi doggdf - another gold one - wow!  As Steve says, where are they all coming from?  This has just got be good news for the rex and us forum members.

Now then, the 1st thing we have to do is get you enrolled as a full member (assuming that you might want to come on board with us) and secondly you just have to name your car.

Getting back you your initial question as to \'Part Shops\' - yes there are numerous suppliers around both in UK & USA and it basically depends how quick you want these and at what cost.  So feel free to ask away and feel sure to get a response.

Most service stuff you can still buy from motorfactors, mostly made by blueprint.

Clive can get hold of a lot of spare parts through mazda. Rock auto in USA can be a good source for parts too, but postage is never cheap for international shipments !
