Which engine oil for my fd?

Hi all, new to the rx7 world

Basically I\'ve picked up a fresh import with only 26000 kilometers!!

Unfortunlety it was parked for nearly 1 year and it\'s misfiring so decided to give it a service

I\'ve been advised to use fully synthetic oil as mileage is so low! Is that advisable?

I was advised AGAINST synthetic, but to use mineral oil, as that burns cleaner and leaves less carbon deposits.
I was told to use MPM 20W50 (oil for high mileage / oldtimers)

So which oil for very low mileage engine?

10/40 or 15/40 mineral oil is fine. Been running that for years in mine without any issues.

yes mileage is irrelevent, i use it in all the new engines i build.

ive always used castrol if you can still get it, i heard they were stopping making it.

And what would u suggest with the missfire problem, I\'m guessing the cars just flooded, I had to do a toe start to get it running

I haven\'t had time to look at it yet as it went straigt to bodyshop for a respray, I\'ve bought oil & fuel filter and spark plugs so far.

Would you suggest to maybe bleed the brakes, replace coolant, gear oil etc as the car has been parked for about a year?
